I fell off of the face of the planet there for a bit, didn't I? Being on a list published in a magazine for witches isn't all its cracked up to be. Especially being smack in the middle of it. A lot of old girlfriends crawling out of the woodwork on that one. I had been adopting various disguises to get in and out of my flat every day. Woe is me, right?

I have no idea what has been going on with anybody. Apparently my brother has some kind of animal living with him. I'd guess a dog. And other things and other people blah blah blah. I think I'll go find myself some firewhisky.

Apparently I'm on some sort of list. I never find out about these things from anybody but my brother. How did they even get my name? It's a little disturbing. But at least it's a good list, right?

Speaking of my brother, he's being sneaky about something and I will find out what.

Work has been well as far as work goes. The personal life has been minimal. I haven't been to see my sister and the world's greatest nephews in awhile, I should do that soon. It's amazing how empty my social life has been as of late. Filing with Daisy was grand fun. And I feel that I have some investigating to do in relation to a relation of mine. But I shouldn't say too much on that.

It would be spectacular if people would stop trying to bring a fight to their front step. Also stop being an arse to those trying to talk some sense to you. I know I don't have much say in anything, but why try to rush the inevitable?

My job is bollocks. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if there weren't so many cases to be dealt with. I'm insanely glad that I never became an auror, but having to clean up the mess left behind is even worse. I should have just worked as a conductor on the Knight Bus or something. Maybe they would have let me drive it eventually. Of course, I can't imagine that's really a job that would impress the ladies. But who knows, maybe there are a few birds out there who like the smell of exhaust and are turned on by a conductor's uniform.
